Our school organized a dengue awareness campaign, where we actively participated in spreading vital information to the local villages. Along with our teachers, we visited several villages, meeting people to raise awareness about dengue prevention. We distributed pamphlets that explained the causes of dengue, such as stagnant water where mosquitoes breed, and how to prevent it by keeping surroundings clean, using mosquito repellents, and covering water storage containers. The villagers were receptive and engaged, asking questions and showing a willingness to adopt preventive measures. The campaign not only helped educate the community but also instilled a sense of responsibility in us as students, knowing that we were making a positive impact on public health.
